RDA has as well awarded 4 other contracts to Zambian contractors to work on the drainage system in Lusaka.

RDA chief executive officer Bernard Chiwala speaking at the signing ceremony in Lusaka said that Messr Dawiq in partnership with Karen Motors Limited will conduct periodic maintenance on 131 kilo metres of the Mpika-Kasama road.

He said, "Periodic maintenance of 131 kilo metre of M001 road from Mpika at the junction with Great North road to Chambeshi Bridge in Muchinga Lot 1 has been awarded to Messr Dawiq Limited in joint venture with Karen Motors Limited for a contract period of 12 months at a total cost of K118,299,971.80".
