Lockheed Martin has been awarded a VNsight sensor production contract from Army.
Lockheed Martin has secured a contract worth $19 million from the US Army for the supply of VNsight low-light-level TV capabilities.
Under the contract, the company will supply 112 sensors and spares for Army’s Apache attack helicopters.
Matt Hoffman, Lockheed Martin’s Arrowhead program director said, “This capability provides increased situational awareness that is critical to our soldiers in theater. VNsight Lot 2 enables us to upgrade 30 percent of all Apache battalions currently equipped with M-TADS/PNVS.\"
