Outreach a provider of hydraulic equipment has received contracts worth around Ł4m for the supply of seven pipehandlers to different platforms in the North Sea and the Middle East.
The newly received contract includes supply of four Outreach pipehandlers to Apache North Sea for the Forties oil platforms, Alpha, Bravo, Charlie and Delta.
The production, delivery and commissioning of all seven Palfinger PKM700T knuckle boom systems will be done during the following months. The PKM700T is a 21m boom and has a lifting capacity of 3.5 tonnes. It is used for transferring pipe from the pipe deck directly to the V-door, catwalk or conveyor and back.
