SINGAPORE : Yongnam bags S$30.4m contracts

Steel contractor Yongnam Holdings has secured three contracts worth a total of S$30.4 million comprising two contracts for the MRT Downtown Line 3 (DTL3) and a contract for the Victoria Theatre and Victoria Concert Hall.
Yongnam will build the Kaki Bukit and Kallang Bahru stations along DTL3. The 21-km long DTL3 is the final stretch of the 42-km Downtown Line.
Work on the contracts is expected to be completed around late 2014.
For the structural steelworks package at the Victoria Theatre and Victoria Concert Hall, Yongnam will support the main contractor, Sato Kogyo (S) Pte Ltd in the additions and alterations to the existing buildings.
Work on the project is expected to be completed around December 2012.
