Publish Date : 28-Oct-2011
YHI International Limited announced that it has signed three contracts with three separate partners to broaden its business offerings and strengthen its supply and distribution networks in China.
YHI Group Managing Director, Richard Tay, said these initiatives are in line with the group\'s five-year business expansion plan to reach annual sales target of S$1 billion by 2015.
In the first agreement, YHI will supply its proprietary brand Advanti alloy wheels to Michelin China\'s TyrePlus chain stores from October 2011.
In the second agreement signed between YHI\'s wholly-owned subsidiary, YHI Corporation (Shanghai) Co Ltd and Toyo Tire & Rubber Co Ltd, will see YHI distribute Nitto brand passenger tyres in China. Production of Nitto tyres will begin by end 2012.
In the third agreement, YHI will distribute FIAMM starter batteries in the whole of China.
The latest agreements will not have significant impact in the current financial year.
