AZERBAIJAN : AZAL inked deals with Boeing

AZAL has procured 6 Airbus-320 and 1 Boeing 767-300 ER aircrafts and inked deals with Boeing on new orders in the current year, during which, new flights have been started to Izmir, Aberdin (Scotland) and Simferopol cities. Also the Baku-Kiev-Baku, Baku-Trabzon-Baku flights have been restored and the frequency of flights have been increased. Flights to Nakhchivan AR have been launched to be fulfilled by Airbus-320 aircraft.
During the present year, the construction works of new air terminal at Heydar Aliyev International Airport, flight and landing strip, 4 hangars for aircrafts and Gabala airport have seen progression. Interstate project on the setting up of radio technical means at Nakhchivan and Ganja airports due to credits of international financial organizations has seen completion too.
