UNITED KINGDOM : Lamprell Gets 2 Construction Deals With Nexen worth $200 Million

Lamprell plc has won two new construction contracts from Nexen Petroleum U.K. Limited worth $200 million. The contracts are in relation to the Golden Eagle Development in the UK North Sea.
The first contract includes a two level Wellhead (W) Deck, of around 50 metres by 50 metres, with weight about 4,000 tonnes. The construction of W Deck would be done at Lamprell\'s Jebel Ali yard. This work is expected to conclude during the Q2 of 2013.
Another contract awarded is for a three level Production, Utilities and Quarters or PUQ Deck, measuring around 85 metres by 40 metres, with weight around 10,000 tonnes. Construction of the PUQ Deck will be done at Lamprell\'s Jebel Ali facility. Work is scheduled for completion during the Q2 of 2014.
