ISRAEL : Israel Aerospace Industries wins $35 million deal
Publish Date : 24-Nov-2011
Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI), leading global developer of military and commercial aerospace technology, obtained a $35 million deal from a foreign client.
As per this deal, IAI will provide next generation of its EHUD Autonomous Air Combat Maneuvering Instrumentation (AACMI) system, which will considerably boost performance of advanced joint training capabilities for air, ground and naval forces.
The new EHUD AACMI system combines advanced technologies including wireless communication with aircraft avionic systems, new simulation concepts, improved and flexible data link, better processing power as well as data security. The system is expected to fulfill future concepts of military training which comprise complex weapon systems and distributed mission-training through Live-Virtual-and Constructive (LVC) simulations.
Itzhak Nissan, CEO of Israel Aerospace Industries, said \"This program complies with the most demanding challenges of the modern live training arena. The ability to implement advanced technologies and create a rich virtual world, dramatically enhances the level of training while controlling mission safety requirements and reducing training costs. The next generation of EHUD is technologically the world\'s leading AACMI system which provides an answer to both the evolving training standards and requirements of modern air forces.\"
