UNITED KINGDOM : Another $12.2 million contract to BAE Systems

An additional $12.2 million contract has been awarded to BAE Systems in West Manchester Township for Mine Resistant Ambush Protection vehicles.
The Marine Corps Systems Command in Quantico, Va., is the contracting activity.
The contract will be done in Bagram, Afghanistan and is expected to finish by December 2012, as per US Department of Defense website.
York Country Defense, security and aerospace company employs about 1,200 people.
