UNITED KINGDOM : Alter NRG obtained $22-million contract

Alter NRG Corp. will be awarded a $22-million contract to deliver a plasma gasifier for a renewable energy plant in northeastern England. The company has been chosen to offer engineering, fabrication and construction of a plasma gasifier for installation at the proposed Tees Valley Renewable Energy Facility.
Alter NRG anticipates realizing approximately 90% of the revenue within 15 months of a signed agreement, said the company. Chairman Kevin Bolin said, “Signing this contract will be a watershed moment for Alter NRG. This agreement represents the first sale of our largest plasma gasifier, the G65. Having a prestigious customer choose our technology provides further credibility to our product offerings.”
