UNITED STATES : BAE inked Ł511 million IT services deal with CSC

BAE Systems announced that it has entered into an IT services deal worth Ł511 million for 5-year with CSC, replacing the existing one, which is expected to expire in April 2012.
Under the deal, CSC will help BAE\'s service desk, mainframe, storage and networking, physical and virtual servers, as well as project services and application maintenance and support.
Dean McCumiskey, BAE Systems global chief information officer said, “As the defence industry continues to evolve, CSC’s expertise and support in delivering highly competitive, value-for-money services across our business in support of our strategic and operational objectives will be invaluable.”
The deal is worth around Ł102 million for the next five years.
