CHINA,SINGAPORE : Rolls-Royce gets GBP10 million deal from PaxOcean Engineering

Rolls-Royce obtained GBP10 million deal from PaxOcean Engineering, the offshore company based in Singapore.
As per this deal, Rolls-Royce will be responsible to design and deliver two oil platform supply vessels. The company is constructing the vessels at PaxOcean Engineering\'s shipyard in Zhuhai. The deal covers vessel design, a completely unified Rolls-Royce diesel electric propulsion system and deck machinery. The vessels are scheduled to be delivered in first half of 2013.
The two platform supply vessels will have an overall length of 78.7 m, a 16 m beam and a deck cargo area of 670 sq.m. They will be developed as per clean design regulations and will be capable of fire fighting and oil recovery.
