INDIA,UKRAINE : BHEL bags Rs 40 crore deal from ArcelorMittal

Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd. (BHEL) obtained Rs 40 crore equipment supply deal from ArcelorMittal.
As per this deal, BHEL will be responsible to provide steam turbine generator (STG) package for captive power project at ArcelorMittal Group\'s steel plant in Ukraine.
The company will also manage design, engineering, manufacture, supply and management of erection and commissioning of 27MW steam turbine & generator package, with controls and instrumentation (C&I). The company will carry out the project in 18 months. BHEL is likely to produce steam turbine generators and C&I systems at its plant in Hyderabad.
