UNITED STATES : CGI Group secures US$93.7 million government health-care contracts

The Montreal-based company, CGI Group Inc. has secured a US$93.7 million contract for the construction of the health insurance exchange of U.S. government.
The company said that the agreement will bring coverage to an estimated 34 million uninsured Americans.
The US$93.7-million value of the contract runs over a two-year base with three, one-year option periods. The company has also been assigned to manage a Medicaid program in Colorado that identifies, corrects and prevents improper payments of the program.
The Colorado program is a benefits-funded contract worth US$13.3 million over seven years.
