IRAQ,UNITED STATES : Lockheed Martin gets $835 million deal from Iraq

Lockheed Martin Corp., US based leading global defense company, obtained $835 million deal from Iraq.
As per this deal, Lockheed Martin will offer 18 F-16 Block 52 fighter jets to Iraq. It will also offer support equipment and logistics support.
According to Air Force, under foreign military sales deal, Iraq will get 12 F-16Cs and six, two-seat F-16Ds. Iraq has been interested in about 36 F-16s. Iraq is expected to get the delivery of first aircraft in late 2013. Iraqi pilots are already going through training in US
