UNITED KINGDOM : Serco wins $47m U.S. Navy Planning and Analysis ID/IQ contract

Serco has been awarded an indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (ID/IQ) contract to provide Manpower, Personnel, Training and Education (MPTE) planning support, policy and program analysis, financial program management, and training solutions for the U.S. Navy. Serco\'s work under the ID/IQ contract has a ceiling value of $47m over three years, which includes a one-year base and two one-year option periods, if all options are exercised.
Under this contract, Serco will compete for task orders in the following areas: human resource planning and analysis; automation and information technology support; program and organizational analysis; modeling, simulation and analysis; and financial and program management. The Company will provide support to the Office of the Chief of Naval Operations (OPNAV) N1 and to the Navy Safe Harbor for planning, policy development and execution of personnel and education activities in order to provide the Navy\'s operating forces with trained personnel to support their missions. Serco has been supporting this customer with similar services since 1999.
