UNITED KINGDOM : Holroyd Machine Tools gets Ł3m contracts in China

Milnrow-based engineering firm Holroyd Machine Tools, a division of the Precision Technologies Group(PTG), has won contracts worth more than Ł3m from China.
Holroyd has been hired to build two rotor grinding machines worth Ł2m by a company dealing in air compressors and refrigeration equipment.
Apart from this, firm has also won an order worth Ł1.2m to supply machines used in the manufacturing of railway car bodies.
The order is latest in the series of repeat orders from China for the PTG Group. Customers to both contracts are located in Beijing.
PTG currently exports around 95 per cent of its output. Its main markets include China, the USA, Germany, Russia, India and Japan.
