BAE Systems obtained a $37million deal from US Navy.
As per this 1-year deal, BAE Systems will be responsible to develop, deploy and test onboard radio communications and network capability for US Navy\'s new DDG 113 and DDG 114 destroyers. The company will offer a range of services, such as systems engineering, production integration, logistics and configuration management.
Mark Keeler, VP and GM of Land and Electronic Systems at BAE Systems Support Solutions, said, \"This award continues our strong legacy of support to the Navy\'s DDG programme. Our employees have a long and proud history of providing critical communications systems.\"
According to Keeler, the deployed technology will comprise multi-spectrum radio sets, antenna systems and baseband switching, in addition to data-link modems and message distribution services.
