UNITED STATES : Harris Secured $6 Million IT Contract to Support U.S. Air Force Financial System

Harris Corporation has been awarded a three-year, $6 million dollar contract by the Enterprise Financial Systems Division of the U. S. Air Force Program Executive Office for Enterprise Information Systems to support and enhance their Automated Business Services System (ABSS). Harris has held two contracts supporting ABSS since 2006.
Under the contract, Harris will deliver maintenance, sustainment, enhancement, and integration support for the ABSS financial reporting tool. Specific tasks include help desk support; administration of the application; database, development, and test servers; enhancement and integration of ABSS software and code; interface maintenance and updates; production of technical documentation; and ensured compliance with governing statutes and Department of Defense financial management regulations.

The Harris team includes subcontractors Battelle and Peerless Technologies Corporation. This contract was awarded under the Network-Centric Solutions (NETCENTS) contract vehicle.
