UNITED STATES : Lion-Vallen Industries secures $12.4M contract to serve Marine Corps

Lion-Vallen Industries has secured a $12.4 million Navy contract to manage a Marine Corps warehouse network that distributes infantry combat equipment, protective masks and other gear.
The Defense Department disclosed that the contract intended for the establishment of a bridge. The government conducts a competition for a longer-term contract for the task.
Marine facilities in Okinawa, Japan, and across the United States are comprised in the contract, which is to be completed by Aug. 11, 2012. Lion-Vallen Industries started as a 50-50 joint venture partnership with Hagemeyer N.A., formerly Vallen Safety Supply Co.
