ROMANIA : STX OSV secures US$33.43m contract to build a forage carrier

STX OSV Holdings Limited on Friday announced that it has secured a NOK 200 million (US$33.43 million) contract for the construction of a forage carrier for Eidsvaag AS.
The LNG powered vessel will be purpose-built for the bulk transport and delivery of fish feed to fish farms and will operate for Skretting AS.
It will be of Rolls-Royce NVC-401 LNG design, measuring 75 metres in length with a beam of 13.6 metres. The hull of the vessel will be built at STX OSV Tulcea in Romania.
Delivery is scheduled from STX OSV Brattvaag in Norway in the second quarter 2013.
