NETHERLANDS : Fairstar Heavy Transport gets $2.6 million deal

Fairstar Heavy Transport, Netherlands based leading shipping company, obtained a $2.6 million deal.
As per this deal, Fairstar Heavy Transport will transport Hercules Offshore jack up drilling rig Hercules 185 from US to West Africa. The transfer of the rig will be carried out from its existing location in Pascagoula, Mississippi to West Africa, in Q1 of 2012, with its open stern, semi-submersible vessel Fjell.
According to Chris Muilwijk, client services group leader at Fairstar Heavy Transport, the vessel has transported the rig to Pascagoula, in early 2011.
Muilwijk said, “Our crew on board the Fjell is committed to returning the rig to West Africa in 2012 safely and securely.”
According to Fairstar Heavy Transport, the vessel is on its way to Malta to load the Northern Offshore rig Energy Exerter in January. Then it will depart in Northern Europe and enter Gulf of Mexico to load Hercules 185.
