PKN Orlen, Poland based oil refining company, inked about 19.4 billion deal with Souz Petrolium.
As per this deal, Souz Petrolium will provide crude oil to PKN Orlen’s P?ock plant. this deal will be effective from 1 January 2012 through 2014. This deal will make sure annual supply of nearly 2.4 million tons of crude oil.
The new deal replaces Orlen\'s earlier z?.20.5 billion deal with petroleum trading firm Petraco, which was effective from 29 September 2011 to 22 December 2011.
Jacek Krawiec, CEO of PKN Orlen, said, “This time, we have been able to negotiate better terms of business compared with those afforded by the previous agreement: a better price plus a number of other terms favorable to PKN ORLEN, such as a guarantee of alternative deliveries.\"
