Balaji Telefilms Ltd has signed a binding business transfer agreements to sell its Media Education business and its Mobile content production business for a consolidated consideration of Rs. 8.37 crores.
On receipt of the full consideration in a period not to exceed 90 days, the transaction is expected to be effective.
The Board at their January 14, 2011, meeting had given approval for this transaction and the same was thereafter also agreed by the Shareholders of the firm by Postal ballot on February 18, 2011.
