Serbia : Budget of RSD 950 million for works on Kragujevac–Batocina motorway

The 2012 budget further envisages RSD 950 million for progressing on with the works on Kragujevac–Batocina motorway, said, Deputy Prime Minister for Economy and Regional Development Verica Kalanovic, during his visit to the motorway construction site.
According to the minister, these funds forms only one quarter of the budget of the National Investment Plan. She added that to foster economic development in the region, road infrastructure plays a vital role, also in attracting investors, employment and a better life of citizens. This motorway will help over 300,000 people residing in the locality.
Radisa Milosevic, Batocina municipal president stated that the construction work of these three kilometres of the motorway through this municipality is scheduled to complete within 120 days, and further stated that in the coming year project documentation for another five kilometres is expected to be inked.
