INDIA : HCC bags contract worth Rs.289 crore from Gujarat Government

Hindustan Construction Company Ltd (HCC) is in receipt of a Letter of Acceptance (LOA) for a contract worth Rs.289 crore to develop a bulk water transmission system for Gujarat Water Infrastructure Limited, a Government of Gujarat Undertaking.
Under the \'Swarnim Gujarat Saurashtra-Kutch, Water Grid Programme (NC-31), development of a 57 km long water transmission pipeline between Dhanki and Maliya villages will be done.
It is an EPC contract which includes building of a 32 km long MS Pipeline of 2150 mm diameter (ID) and 14.5 mm thickness and a 25 km long MS Pipeline of 2000 mm dia (ID) and 13.5 mm thickness. The work even comprises of execution and maintenance for a period of 5 years.
The project is scheduled to complete within 12 months.
