Description KEC International Ltd. (KEC) has secured new orders valued at Rs. 1,253 crore.
In the Transmission business, the company has won orders worth Rs. 723 crore, in Power Systems it has won Rs. 253 crore orders for Substation works, Rs. 123 crore orders are in the Water business, Rs. 105 crore orders are in the Cable business and Rs. 49 crore is in the Telecom business.
The company has secured orders in the Transmission business from Saudi Arabia, United States and Afghanistan.
The company has secured orders from Kenya, India and Philippines in the power system business for substation works.
It has received 6 new orders in the water business, worth Rs.123 crore. The orders secured in cable business is worth Rs.105 crores, for supply of power cables and telecom cables.
Rs.49 crore order is for the telecom business from Power Grid for setting up of 2200 kms of Optical Power Ground Wire (OPGW) communication network under hotline conditions in the Eastern region in India. This even comprises of delivery and stringing of OPGW cable and test equipments.
