UNITED STATES : Harris secured $6.8 Million IT Services Contract from USAF Materiel

Harris Corporation announced that it has received a contract worth $6.8 million from the U.S. Air Force Material Command to supply assured integration and maintenance support for vital Air Force Network (AFNet) hardware.
Under the terms of contract, Harris will provide integration and maintenance support comprising system engineering, management of technical publications, Tier 2 and 3 response center support, software configuration, and on-site system support.
John Heller, president, Harris IT Services, said \"Harris has strong proven performance and expertise in network and hardware integration and support for the Air Force, and will continue to deliver top-tier, best-value assured IT solutions to the Electronic Systems Center on this contract.\"
Harris is currently performs upgradation and modernization for U.S. Air Force network systems at several bases within the continental U.S.
