UNITED STATES : Hauppauge electronics firm wins $2.2M in orders

Hauppauge-based Orbit International Corp. has secured orders worth $2.2 million in December. Orbit said that it received the orders through its Behlman Electronics Inc. subsidiary, which is also in Hauppauge.
The orders comprise two new follow-on orders for over $600,000 in power-supply electronics for military aircraft and for a nuclear power plant control system.
Orbit International, Corp. is the parent company of both the Orbit Electronics Group and the Orbit Power Group. Orbit companies have been relied upon to design and manufacture subsystems and major components for prime contractors, government procurement agencies (both foreign and domestic), and R&D laboratories worldwide since 1957.
