NICARAGUA : Nicaragua aims US $40 million sale contracts at international fairs

The Association of producers and exporters of Nicaragua is planning sale contracts of worth US $40 million at six international fairs in 2012. Azucena Castillo, Head of the organization, announced this.
According to Castillo, in 2012, Nicaragua will take part in three important tourism events in Spain, England and Guatemala.
At these forums, tour operators and hotels will display new products and tourist destinations associated to sustainable and cultural tourism in the department of Leon and in Ometepe Island, two of the main attractive offers of Nicaragua, which will also present food at fairs in Germany, France, US and Taiwan.
Castillo stated that, Educate to Export program, which is promoted by the association, will reinforce the capacity to export of small and medium enterprises, which is 97% of the 1,874 export companies in Nicaragua.
