Northgate Information Solutions has obtained Ł400 million IT services framework deal from Essex Police.
As per this deal, Northgate Information Solutions will carry out the deployment of a crime, intelligence and defendant management system (custody and case preparation) for a number of local police authorities. This framework deal is open to all police authorities across UK.
Northgate Information Solutions will initially provide support to authorities in Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Essex, Hertfordshire, Norfolk and Suffolk, City of London Police, and Kent Police. These are likely to generate nearly Ł32 million worth of business for Northgate. If the authorities in others locations join in, the worth of this deal may be increased to Ł400 million.
Essex Police’s notice stated that, \"The implementation of this software will assist in improving performance and the level of service that forces are able to provide to the public.”
