Publish Date : 02-Feb-2012
Maridive announced that it has inked a contract worth $234 million with Petrobas for running five Brazilian offshore support vessels (OSV) during four years, beginning from April 2012.
Maridive has also inked $25 million deal in Egypt, to operate one vessel for two years, which will also start in April.
The company stated that the delivery of three of the vessels two in Brazil and one in Egypt will take place in February.
“The average daily rate for the five vessels operating in Brazil will be $30000,” said Mardive\'s financial chief Emad Fawzy.
It is expected that the new contracts will raise Maridive\'s revenues and margins over the next four years, preliminary in the second quarter of 2012.
