UNITED STATES : SPACELABS inks $2m deal to supply patient monitoring solutions

A healthcare arm of OSI Systems, Spacelabs Healthcare, has won $2m order from a northwest regional hospital system, where in it will supply its patient monitoring equipment and related enterprise software.
Spacelabs deals in supply of monitoring and information systems for supporting decision-making as well as to assist in enhancing patient care and even to grant access to patient data as and when required.
The monitors are also expected to improve response time, enhance patient care as well as patient safety.
According to Deepak Chopra, CEO of OSI Systems, they aim at providing their range of patient monitoring and connectivity solutions for enhancing the functionality and flow of clinical information at this healthcare system.
