UNITED STATES : Artivision signs MOU on video tech with Intel

ARTIVISION Technology announced that its wholly owned ArtiMedia Pte Ltd had signed the exclusive non-binding MOU with Intel to incorporate its front-end in-video advertising platform and back-end advertisement serving technology into Intel\'s Software Development Kit or SDK, that has Intel\'s \'Wi-Fi Direct\' technology.
The MOU will expire in four months. During this period, the first working SDK with Artivision\'s front-end and back-end technology will be deployed on a demo mobile device.
The tie-up makes Artivision the first Singapore company with video content analysis and advertisement serving technologies to tie up with Intel.
\'Artimedia\'s front-end technology intelligently analyses the video stream in order to place unique non-intrusive ads onto the online video content,\' said Dr Miller Co-founder and chief technology officer.
\'The back-end technology will be used as an open platform for advertisers to place images, pictures and videos onto any devices while using Intel\'s \'Wi-Fi Direct\' technology.\'
This is the second significant deal the company has inked in the past six months. Last October, it announced that it had signed a $42 million deal with Chinese technology giant Beijing Daheng Innovative Technology Co Ltd to exclusively adopt its AVision software for its surveillance hardware applications.
Artivision, which develops online video advertising and video security technology solutions, is controlled by its chief executive and chairman Philip Soh.
