INDIA : IndiaHomes gets US $4 million in financing

The real estate brokerage company - IndiaHomes, has obtained US $4 million financing from Helion Venture Capital and Foundation Capital.
With this, the company is also planning to raise $6 million in next 1-year for expansion. The company will purchase Mumbai-based IT firm to increase online transactions.
Agni Property has been rebranded as IndiaHomes and has unveiled new property pricing software – Goldmine. In 2010, the company had raised $12 million (nearly Rs.53 Cr) by selling minority stake to US based venture capital company Foundation Capital and India-based Helion Venture Partners. The company was established in 2007. It is engaged in handling and supporting the property buying, selling, leasing, and investing requirements of customers for commercial and residential projects. It also offers legal consultation, transaction coordination and documentation, and home loan as well as financial services.
