SINGAPORE : Ezion secures US$80.3million service rig charter contract

Ezion Holdings Limited on Wednesday said it has secured a charter contract with a value of up to US$80.3 million over a four-year period to provide a second North Sea class service rig for use by a European oil major.
The service rig is expected to be deployed and working in offshore Denmark by the fourth quarter of 2012 after its refurbishment and upgrading.
The project will be funded by internal sources and bank borrowings.
The contract is not expected to have a material impact on the group\'s earnings per share or net tangible assets per share for the financial year ending December 31, 2012.
