Arup has obtained Ł7 million deal from HS2 Ltd.
As per this deal, Arup will provide environmental overview services for High Speed 2 London to West Midlands rail project. Arup will organize the work of the environmental companies selected to these deals.
The deal comes under Lot 3 environmental services of HS2’s professional services framework. It includes a total of five packages, the remaining packages to be awarded are for the environmental impact assessments (EIAs).
Arup will offer technical leadership and supervision in the preparation of EIAs for the route from London to West Midlands. It will create the environmental statement which will form part of the hybrid bill documentation for Parliamentary approval process in 2013.
