Ukraine : IFC to provide $15 mln for Ukrainian SMEs

The International Finance Corporation (IFC) has announced it will invest $15 million in the direct investment fund to support Ukraine's small and medium-size businesses (SMBs).
Ukrainian Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman said, "The International Finance Corporation has decided to invest $15 million in the direct investment fund to support SME in Ukraine. I am sure that this step would give a new incentive to develop to Ukrainian businessmen and the economy."
He said that aid to legal business for the sake of the economic development has been prioritized by the government.
He added, "Businessmen create the national product and push the economy forward."
