Tech Data today announced a new strategic partnership to accelerate the adoption of the full range of Microsoft software and cloud solutions in Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary and Romania. The new agreement between Tech Data and Microsoft will focus on Office 365, Azure, and solutions for BI, IoT and Analytics and will include additional investments in Tech Data resources, marketing initiatives and the companys global cloud transaction platform, StreamOne. This will be supported by a newly-created Tech Data centre of excellence in Prague, which comprises a team of product experts providing reseller support for all Microsoft solutions.
In addition to reinforcing its existing partnership with Microsoft in the Czech Republic and Poland, this agreement will help Tech Data to introduce expertise and tools, such as the StreamOne platform, to Slovakia, Hungary and Romania, which joined Tech Datas footprint following its acquisition of Avnets Technology Solutions business in February 2017. Tech Data will target reseller recruitment and enablement efforts in the SMB and enterprise segments, leveraging its end-to-end portfolio of advanced and endpoint solutions and its broad community of channel partners in the Eastern European region.
