CANADA : NextEra Energy Resources completes acquisition of two Solar Photovoltaic projects

NextEra Energy Inc.\'s subsidiary NextEra Energy Resources LLC, has announced completing the acquisition of two solar photovoltaic projects from First Solar totaling 40 MW.
First Solar had designed, developed and constructed the projects located in St. Clair, Ontario, by utilizing its thin-film PV modules, and had started its commercial operation in February. Subsidiaries of NextEra Energy Resources, NextEra Energy Canada ULC owns and operates the projects.
Through a long-term deal under its Renewable Energy Standard Offer Program, the power is being purchased by the Ontario Power Authority.
