ETHIOPIA : $100million in AfDB fund expected for Ethiopian hydro power plant

Hopefully, in September 2012 the African Development Bank (AfDB) is to approve $100m towards fund for the construction of a new hydro electric power in Ethiopia.
The cost of hydro power project is likely to be around $400m. The project would feature two power plants having a total potential capacity of producing 371MW per year.
The project also seeks to secure additional funding from other financial institutions.
