Singapore : Boustead secures $35million worth of oil & gas contracts

Boustead Singapore Limited on Thursday announced that its energy-related engineering division has secured $35 million worth of contracts from the oil & gas industries in Australia, Brazil and India.
The contracts involve the design, process engineering and construction of key largescale process systems, waste heat recovery units and critical process control systems for oil & gas infrastructure developments.
With the addition of the latest contracts, the Boustead Group\'s order book backlog currently stands at S$345 million.
The latest contracts are not expected to have a material impact on the profitability, earnings per share and net asset value per share of Boustead in the current financial year ending March 31, 2012. However, the latest contracts are expected to have a positive material impact on the profitability and earnings per share of Boustead in the next financial year ending March 31, 2013.
