Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tajikistan Nazip Khazipov made a report on the performance of the livestock sector for 2 months. He recalled that in 2018, among the agricultural producers of the republic, it was declared the "Year of cultivation of high-yielding heifers". "Last December we held seminars in all districts, and in January we developed and introduced a new form of reporting on the cultivation of heifers," Nazip Khazipov said.

According to him, for monitoring and analysis, 245 agricultural enterprises were selected with a herd of more than 200 head of livestock. In total, these farms have 200 thousand cows.

For 2 months 63 thousand tons of meat were produced in agricultural organizations and peasant farms of Tatarstan (103% to the level of the corresponding period of 2017), 198 thousand tons of milk (103%).

The volumes of milk production increased compared to last year's Kukmorsky, Baltasinsky, Aznakaevsky, Alkeyevsky, Sabinsky, Zainsky, Atninsky, Rybno-Slobodsky and other areas. At the same time, milk production in the Kaibitsky, Chistopol, Buinsky, Muslyumovsky, Apastovsky, Mendeleevsky, Bugulminsky, Kamsko-Ustinsky, Tukayevsky, and Drozhzhanovsky districts declined. At the level of the last year, the livestock breeders of Almetyevsky, Yutazinsky, Yelabuga, Zelenodolsk, Bavlinsky, Verkhneuslonsky and Alekseevsky districts work.

"At present, according to Tatarstan, the average procurement price for milk is 21.55 rubles per kg of products," said Nazip Khazipov.

Commenting on the speech of the speaker, the head of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan, Marat Akhmetov, called on agricultural producers to conclude long-term contracts with milk processors. "It is impossible to wait for an increase in procurement prices for milk. In Tatarstan, measures are implemented to support producers, including 3 rubles for each liter of milk sold, but for the coming period we must look for reserves and ways to reduce the cost of production, "he stressed.

Among the farms leading in the production of milk and the receipt of cattle slings, Nazip Khazipov named the farm "Mukhametshin ZZ" of the Sabinsky district (for 2 months, the milk yield for 1 cow was 1,762 kg, the average weight gain was 934 g), the Ural "Kukmorsky district (1,751 kg, 857 gr), Shakhtar LLC of Atninsky district (1,712 kg, 853 gr), APK Prodprogramma of the Mamadysh district (1688 kg, 876 gr), the Vakhitov Agricultural Complex of the Kukmorsky District (1,586 kg, 1,021 gr) and etc.

"Many factors affect the production indicators of dairy farming, including imbalance in the diet of cattle - by 50%, insufficient water consumption by 25%, lack of bedding, and increased humidity by 30%," the deputy minister said.

Nazip Khazipov dwelled on the cost of the ration of livestock, the cultivation of young cattle, etc.

Then the First Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Nikolay Titov spoke. "The most important economic indicator is the profitability of production. There should be accounting, analysis and search for solutions to reduce the cost of agricultural production, - he said. "In addition, working conditions and wages are very important."

Nikolai Titov recalled that in 2017 the volume of gross livestock production in all categories of farms amounted to 121.5 billion rubles, a comparable growth of 1.5%. They ensured high profitability of livestock production of the agricultural organizations of the Kukmorsky, Baltasinsky, Atninsky, Aktanyshsky, Mamadyshsky, Chistopolsky and Tukaevsky districts.

Also in the course of the meeting, the chief accountant of the Ural Chemical Production Complex of the Kukmorsky district Gasim Khakimov spoke about the milk production in the farm and the sales specialist of the Kamp LLC Rinat Sibgatullin who introduced the technology for chopping straw.
