Procter & Gamble Duracell declared that it plans to broaden its facility in Cleveland.
The company will be spending up to $36 million in the next 3-year and will also create further 60 jobs to become the sole producer for C and D batteries, as a part of the plan.
“The Cleveland manufacturing facility is one of only three Procter & Gamble Duracell plants in the United States and will be the sole producer of C- and D-cell batteries for the Duracell brand,” said Bill Barkley, Procter & Gamble Duracell Plant Manager, “The batteries made and packaged in Cleveland are then distributed throughout the U.S., Europe, Asia and Latin America.”
