Koh Brothers Group said on Tuesday that its subsidiary, Koh Brothers Building & Civil Engineering Contractor (Pte) Ltd, and its joint venture partner, UES Holdings Pte Ltd, has secured a $54.6 million contract from PUB.
Under this contract, the JV will be involved in the designing, procurement, supply, construction, installation, testing and commissioning of the used water lift station at the PUB\'s Jurong Water Reclamation Plant. The contract is part of a scheme to extend the used water reticulation system to serve the Jurong Eastern Catchment and new developments in the Jurong Lake District.
Work on the project will commence in April and is expected to be completed in 30 months, by September 2014.
UES is a subsidiary of United Engineers Limited. The JV is 60 per cent-owned by Koh Brothers and 40 per cent-owned by UES.
