Lockheed Martin declared that its unit has been awarded a contract valued at around $78.2 million to work on a missile warning system.
As per the contract, the work will be performed by the Lockheed Martin Information Systems and Global Services in Colorado Springs.
The company stated that up to 30 workers will conduct work on the Shared Early Warning System contract. The Warning System is designed to alert the U.S. and its allies to missile launches.
“The initial deal is for $21.5 million but the amount can reach $78.2 million over five years,” said Lockheed Martin.
