United States : Sevatec Selected to Provide Specialized Cybersecurity Services to U.S. Government

Publish Date : 26-Jul-2018

Sevatec was awarded three Highly Adaptive Cybersecurity Services (HACS) Special Item Numbers (SINs) through the General Services Administrations (GSA) IT Schedule 70 contract vehicle. The HACS SINs provide federal agencies with accelerated access to cybersecurity services via an elite pool of pre-vetted, technically proficient, cybersecurity providers.

As our cybersecurity practice continues to expand, Sevatec is focused on implementing active cyber defense to thwart attacks and system vulnerabilities, said Mike McKinney, Sevatec Chief Solutions Officer. Being recognized by the GSA as a proven provider of cybersecurity solutions through the HACS SINs will allow us to be accessible to all federal customers seeking critical cybersecurity solutions to protect the nations IT infrastructure, systems, and data from adversaries.

To be selected for the HACS SINs awards, Sevatec underwent a rigorous evaluation by the GSA, and was found to be among the most capable vendors in addressing challenges throughout the cyber threat lifecycle. The HACS SINs provide access to rapid ordering and deployment of services, a reduction in open market ordering and contract duplication, and acquisition support resources from GSA.

Sevatecs cybersecurity professional services are now available in the following three HACS categories:
Incident Response (SIN 132-45B)
Cyber Hunt (SIN 132-45C)
Risk and Vulnerability (SIN 132-45D)
