The Ivano-Frankivsk National Technical University of Oil and Gas visited a delegation from the People's Republic of China, namely the Guangdong University of Petrochemical Technology Petrochemical Technology University.
The main purpose of the visit of the delegation from the PRC is the signing of a memorandum on cooperation between higher education institutions, establishing close contacts between the two sides and introducing new forms of cooperation. Today, in a solemn ceremony, the official document on cooperation between IFNTUNG (Rector, Professor Evstahy Kryzhanivsky) and the University of Petrochemical Technologies of Guangdong Province (Vice President, Professor Zhou Rujin) was signed.
The parties have agreed to cooperate in various areas: educational, scientific, innovative. In particular, exchange programs, joint scientific and methodological conferences, exchange of lectures from the best teachers, organization of conferences with leading scientists and lecturers for students and postgraduate students of both universities is envisaged. An important area of cooperation is the joint research and publication of scientific articles, the exchange of postgraduate and doctoral students, the joint implementation of projects, promotion of the dissemination of information of mutual interest in research, new developments, publications and other materials. The document also provides for joint activities aimed at expanding the scope of implementation of the results of fundamental, research and applied research and commercialization of scientific research results, etc.
After the signing of the agreement and active discussion, the parties exchanged views on the opportunities and prospects for further strengthening bilateral cooperation in various areas of mutual interest and outlined further steps to transfer the achieved agreements to a practical level.
The signing of the memorandum was followed by acquaintance with educational institutions. Arthur Voronich, Director of the Center for International Cooperation, presented the general information about the IFNTUU, its history, structure, and international activity. In turn, the director of the International Education Center Zhang Changming told about the peculiarities of training at the University of Petrochemical Technologies, acquainted with its structure and educational and scientific potential.
During the visit, guests from the Celestial Empire hosted an exciting tour of the Geological Museum, the scientific camp "New Energy", where they had an opportunity to look at the "Tesla show", as well as visited the educational research laboratory of hardware and software of the firm "Siemens", the department of oil and gas equipment , sports complex.
It should be noted that IFNTUNG is actively working on expanding the borders of cooperation with foreign partners, including the educational institutions of the People's Republic of China. So, recently a memorandum of cooperation with the Chinese Association of International Exchange was signed. Also this year is the vice-rector for scientific and pedagogical work, whose competence includes the international activity of the IFNTUNG, prof. M. Karpash participated in the International Talent and Project Conferences, held in Ningbo, Zhejiang Province. First of all, these activities are aimed at establishing contacts with Chinese educational, educational, research and business institutions, since today such cooperation has gained new quality and, given the interest in cooperation with IFNTUHG in different directions, will continue to grow.
