Guyanas chief exports are sugar, gold, bauxite, alumina, rice, shrimp, molasses, rum, and timber. Imports include manufactures, machinery, petroleum, and foodstuffs. Leading trade partners of Guyana are Canada, UK, U.S., Jamaica, T Portugal, Trinidad and Tobago, China, and Cuba.
