Brazil Projects

With large and well-developed agricultural, mining, manufacturing, and service sectors, Brazil's economy outweighs that of all other South American countries and is expanding its presence in world markets. Brazil is the highest producing country in the Latin America in the field of agriculture. Brazil is the world's largest producer of sugarcane, coffee, tropical fruits, frozen concentrated orange juice (FCOJ), and has the world's largest commercial cattle herd. Brazil is also an important producer of soybeans, corn, cotton, cocoa, tobacco, and forest products. Brazil is a leader in science and technology in South America and in some fields a global leader, such as biofuels, agricultural research, deep-sea oil production, and remote sensing. Brazil is the largest recipient of foreign direct investment (FDI) in Latin America, and the United States is traditionally the number one foreign investor in Brazil.
